Cynthia is a graduate of the University of Montreal in nutrition and a member of the Professional Order of Dietitians of Quebec since 2012.
During her studies, she is particularly interested in the relationship that people have with their body and food as well as the factors that can disturb it.
We are constantly bombarded with all kinds of conflicting messages about diet and the body and this can have a big impact on our eating behaviors.
During her professional career, Cynthia had the opportunity to work in an external pediatric clinic, with young people increasingly concerned about their weight and their body image. She then broadened her experience with adult clients and continues to improve their skills in order to guide them more effectively towards a healthy relationship with their body and food. She also gives workshops and conferences on healthy weight management.
Her approach: the principles of intuitive eating and mindfulness, an anti-diet approach, without food restriction or guilt. Intuitive eating is based on listening to signals of hunger and satiety to re-establish a healthy, light and harmonious relationship with one's body and with food. Helping people find food freedom is what Cynthia's most passionate about.
Her objective is to motivate and support you throughout the process so that pleasure remains at the center of the activity of eating, and that, with a benevolent attitude and without judgment.
